Depending on your household annual income and the amount of people living in the home, you may be eligible for a government subsidy. This subsidy can sometimes pay virtually the entire premium. There is a misconception that physicians will not take your plan if you purchased “On exchange”… meaning you received a subsidy. There is no difference on your insurance card between an On or Off exchange plan. Like any insurance plan, you would need to let our company know what hospital you prefer and what physicians you prefer so we may steer you to the correct carrier. This year you will have seven carriers to choose from rather than three.
Existing clients are encouraged to call our office before accepting any renewal document you may receive from your current carrier as we may find better or equal coverage through one of the new carriers.
